Mystic Blues

There was a funny story connected to this picture as I was to enter an exhibition and the criteria that was sent to me was, what would you put on a prothesis if you had one (Leg) ?

I thought well, I couldn't put my favourite  actors looking up my leg like Kevin Costner or Richard Armatige so I thought I like whales so perhaps they could be swimming around my leg.

It is a large  oil on canvas.

.The top waves section is an oil pour ,the background an oil wash and then the whales painted on when dry. .Hope you like it.

It has been selected to go into the Green and Blue Exhibition at the Hilton Gardens in Albany in July.
